MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Basking in the Light of his Grace,
Sadie
Today was about living, experiencing, absorbing, storing for later retrieval. I took my father to Preston, KY for a mega junk sale. Stuff was everywhere. You could buy guns, roosters, rabbits, glassware, collectibles, food. The fields were lined with vendors with all kinds of items. A sign at one of the booths summed it up about right: “I buy junk and sell antiques.”
I made a few purchases. I walked a lot. I filed a lot of mental pictures (forgot my camera). I am very tired. I would say it was a good day. The best part of today was spending time with my father. He was in his element looking for just the right find. He was happy to be out and about, and I was happy to make that happen for him.
Really, that’s all I’ve got today. I am that drained. The tip today for writers, or anyone else who is listening: Live life and make memories. You can write about them later….
Living in Grace,
Sadie
